Or, cela ne refl\u00e8te qu\u2019une partie du probl\u00e8me. <strong>Impacts-HPC<\/strong> vise \u00e0 d\u00e9passer cette vision limit\u00e9e en int\u00e9grant aussi l\u2019impact de la fabrication des \u00e9quipements et en \u00e9largissant le spectre des indicateurs consid\u00e9r\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Cet outil permet \u00e9galement <strong>de tracer les \u00e9tapes d\u2019un workflow de calcul et de documenter les sources utilis\u00e9es<\/strong>, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la transparence et la reproductibilit\u00e9. Dans un contexte o\u00f9 la crise environnementale nous oblige \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer simultan\u00e9ment climat, ressources et autres fronti\u00e8res plan\u00e9taires, disposer de tels outils devient indispensable.<\/p>\n<p>La librairie Impacts-HPC couvre plusieurs \u00e9tapes du cycle de vie : fabrication et usage des \u00e9quipements. Elle fournit aux utilisateurs trois indicateurs essentiels :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00c9nergie primaire (MJ)<\/strong> : plus pertinent que la seule \u00e9lectricit\u00e9, car il inclut les pertes de conversion tout au long de la cha\u00eene \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Impact climatique (gCO\u2082eq)<\/strong> : calcul\u00e9 par l\u2019agr\u00e9gation et la conversion des diff\u00e9rents gaz \u00e0 effet de serre en \u00e9quivalents CO\u2082.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D\u00e9pl\u00e9tion des ressources (g Sb eq)<\/strong> : refl\u00e9tant l\u2019utilisation de ressources non renouvelables, en particulier les minerais m\u00e9talliques et non m\u00e9talliques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re fois qu\u2019un tel outil est propos\u00e9 pour un usage direct par les communaut\u00e9s du calcul scientifique, avec une approche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et document\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cette librairie ouvre la voie \u00e0 une \u00e9valuation plus fine des impacts environnementaux li\u00e9s au calcul scientifique. Les prochaines \u00e9tapes incluent son int\u00e9gration dans des environnements de type <em>jumeau num\u00e9rique<\/em>, l\u2019ajout de donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el (mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, stockage, transferts), ainsi que des tests sur un centre HPC de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence (IDRIS).
