En repensant leur ex\u00e9cution sur des architectures hybrides CPU\/GPU, de nouveaux mod\u00e8les bas\u00e9s sur des t\u00e2ches permettent des gains significatifs en termes de performance, de portabilit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;utilisation des ressources. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=\u00a0\u00bb197924&Prime;]Les biblioth\u00e8ques de r\u00e9solution ou de manipulation de syst\u00e8mes lin\u00e9aires sont utilis\u00e9es dans de nombreux domaines de la simulation num\u00e9rique (a\u00e9ronautique, \u00e9nergie, mat\u00e9riaux) et de l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle (apprentissage). Nous cherchons \u00e0 rendre ces biblioth\u00e8ques aussi rapides que possible sur des supercalculateurs combinant des processeurs traditionnels et des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs graphiques (GPU). Pour ce faire, nous utilisons des mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;ex\u00e9cution asynchrones bas\u00e9s sur des t\u00e2ches qui maximisent l&rsquo;utilisation des unit\u00e9s de calcul.  <\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un domaine de recherche actif, mais la plupart des approches existantes sont confront\u00e9es au probl\u00e8me difficile de la division du travail dans la \u00ab\u00a0bonne granularit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb pour les unit\u00e9s de calcul h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes. Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 plusieurs extensions \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le de programmation parall\u00e8le bas\u00e9 sur les t\u00e2ches, appel\u00e9 STF (Sequential Task Flow), qui permet de mettre en \u0153uvre des algorithmes complexes d&rsquo;une mani\u00e8re beaucoup plus \u00e9l\u00e9gante, concise et portable. En combinant ce mod\u00e8le avec des techniques de partitionnement dynamique et r\u00e9cursif du travail, nous augmentons significativement les performances sur les supercalculateurs \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateurs tels que les GPU, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;adapter dynamiquement la granularit\u00e9 des calculs en fonction de l&rsquo;occupation des unit\u00e9s de calcul. Par exemple, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette approche, nous avons obtenu une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 2x par rapport \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres biblioth\u00e8ques de pointe (MAGMA, Parsec) sur un ordinateur hybride CPU\/GPU.   <\/p>\n<p>Les op\u00e9rations d&rsquo;alg\u00e8bre lin\u00e9aire sont souvent les \u00e9tapes les plus co\u00fbteuses dans de nombreuses applications de calcul scientifique, d&rsquo;analyse de donn\u00e9es et d&rsquo;apprentissage profond.
