Il a eu lieu les 6 et 7 f\u00e9vrier 2024 au \u00ab\u00a0Grand Amphi\u00a0\u00bb de l&rsquo;Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris \u00e0 Paris.<br \/>\n<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=\u00a0\u00bb133629&Prime;]Cet atelier en pr\u00e9sentiel a rassembl\u00e9, pendant deux jours, les membres d&rsquo;Exa-DI, les membres des autres projets NumPEx (Exa-MA : M\u00e9thodes et Algorithmes pour l&rsquo;Exascale, Exa-SoFT : Logiciels et Outils HPC, Exa-DoST : Logiciels et Outils Orient\u00e9s Donn\u00e9es pour l&rsquo;Exascale et Exa-AToW : Architectures et Outils pour les Workflows \u00e0 Grande \u00c9chelle), les d\u00e9monstrateurs apllicatifs (ADs) de divers secteurs de la recherche et de l&rsquo;industrie, ainsi que des experts pour discuter des avanc\u00e9es et des orientations futures pour le maillage adaptatif structur\u00e9 par blocs \u00e0 l&rsquo;exascale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cet atelier est le deuxi\u00e8me de la s\u00e9rie des ateliers de co-conception\/co-d\u00e9veloppement dont l&rsquo;objectif principal est de promouvoir les strat\u00e9gies de co-d\u00e9veloppement de la pile logicielle pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 l&rsquo;exascale et la portabilit\u00e9 des applications de science et d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie computationnelles. Plusieurs \u00e9quipes de d\u00e9monstrateurs applicatifs (AD) ont exprim\u00e9 leur int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 participer \u00e0 ce groupe de travail qui est en cours de formation et dont la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9union devrait avoir lieu bient\u00f4t.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les discussions nous ont permis de d\u00e9terminer les diff\u00e9rents objectifs de ce groupe de travail. En particulier, les crit\u00e8res des mini-applications et des applications proxy communes qui seront construites ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finis. Elles doivent :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Repr\u00e9senter des algorithmes, des structures de donn\u00e9es et des agencements, ainsi que d&rsquo;autres caract\u00e9ristiques computationnelles et de communication \u00e0 travers les diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9monstrateurs aplicatifs.<\/li>\n<li>Exploiter et int\u00e9grer des suites logiques de composants logiciels (biblioth\u00e8ques, cadres, outils).<\/li>\n<li>Mesurer les niveaux d&rsquo;interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, les gains de performance et\/ou le compromis entre les composants, la portabilit\u00e9 des performances, la scalabilit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 logicielle.<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9thodologies de collaboration et de partage d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration continue et de benchmarking avec des outils de performance standardis\u00e9s pour guider les optimisations, ainsi que des m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence et des mod\u00e8les de sp\u00e9cifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me objectif principal de ce groupe de travail, qui est \u00e9galement un objectif principal de la s\u00e9rie des ateliers, est d&rsquo;identifier les ressources humaines et les expertises requises pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Calcul et de Donn\u00e9es (CDT) qu\u2019 Exa-DI va former et d\u00e9ployer.
